AI Email Writer — Turn Bullet Points into a Full Email
Type a few rough points, or speak them into your microphone, and get back a complete, well-written email draft — matched to the tone you pick.
Your points
Type your notes, or use the microphone to speak them instead.
Your draft
Review it, tweak it, then copy it into your email client.
Your notes are sent securely to ToolNest's writing service to generate the draft — this is the only tool on the site that works this way. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How it works
Three steps, whether you type or talk.
Add your points
Type a few rough bullet points, or tap the microphone and speak them — your browser's built-in speech recognition converts your voice to text.
Pick a tone
Choose Formal, Friendly, Concise, or Persuasive to match the message you're sending and who it's going to.
Copy your draft
Review the generated email, make any small edits, and copy it straight into Gmail, Outlook, or wherever you send email from.
Built for the emails that take longer than they should
Some emails need to sound a certain way, and getting that right from a blank page takes longer than the message itself deserves.
The Email Writer accepts either typed bullet points or spoken notes through your microphone, then expands them into a complete, well-structured draft in the tone you choose. It's built for the messages that eat up more time than they should — a client update, a follow-up after a meeting, a slightly awkward request — where you know exactly what you want to say but not quite how to phrase it.

Quick answers about the email writer.
Is this tool free?
Yes. Generating email drafts doesn't cost anything to use, with no sign-up or account required.
Is my data safe when I use this tool?
Your bullet points or voice transcript are sent to ToolNest's writing service to generate the draft, then discarded — this is the one tool on the site that isn't fully local, and it's disclosed in full on our Privacy Policy.
Does voice input work in every browser?
Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, which works best in recent versions of Chrome or Edge. If your browser doesn't support it, you can always type your notes instead.
Can I change the draft after it's generated?
Yes. The output is plain text in an editable-feeling box — copy it into your email client and edit freely, or adjust your bullet points and tone and regenerate.
Can I download the draft instead of copying it?
Yes. Once a draft is generated, use "Download as PDF" for a ready-to-send file, or "Download as Word" (.doc) if you'd rather keep editing it in Word or Google Docs.
What languages does it support?
Typed input works in any language you write in. Voice input follows your browser's speech-recognition language setting, which is usually based on your system language.
